About This Role
Fulexa is looking for an enthusiastic SEO Intern to help improve our organic search visibility for keywords related to petrol pump management software in Pakistan, UAE, and India. This is a hands-on role where you will learn and apply real SEO techniques on a live website with measurable results.
You will work directly with our marketing team to conduct keyword research, optimize existing content, build internal linking structures, and track rankings in Google Search Console. By the end of your internship, you will have practical experience with the full SEO workflow and a portfolio of measurable results to show future employers.
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms for petrol pump software
- ✓Optimize existing blog posts, landing pages, and product pages for target keywords
- ✓Perform technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting crawlability and indexing
- ✓Build and maintain internal linking structures across the website
- ✓Monitor Google Search Console for crawl errors, indexing issues, and performance data
- ✓Research and outreach for backlink building opportunities
- ✓Write SEO-optimized meta titles and descriptions for all pages
- ✓Track keyword rankings weekly and report on progress
- ✓Assist in creating SEO-optimized blog content on fuel industry topics
Requirements
- ✓Basic understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical)
- ✓Strong analytical and research skills
- ✓Good written English for content optimization tasks
- ✓Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics (or willingness to learn)
- ✓Self-motivated with attention to detail
- ✓Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- ○Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest
- ○Knowledge of HTML basics for technical SEO tasks
- ○Previous experience optimizing a website or blog
- ○Understanding of local SEO for Pakistan and UAE markets
